Alright so bear with me here.

I've got a Vita slim at 3.65 Enso and using an sd2vita. I've had issues where coming out of sleep mode the system says the memory card has been ejected causing me to have to reset the system.

I figured it was maybe my microsd and that'd I'd do a format and system restore, not remembering that i should back stuff up first etc.

So where i'm at now is that luckily holding R+L on boot gives me access to Vitashell (otherwise i only have system apps) i believe it was installed on the vita memory card (8G) i also have in the system.

I guess this is because the sd2vita program must be set to run at boot along with enso so when i hold R+L it's letting the system pick up only whats on the vita memory card instead?

I've got a new microsd card on the way that's larger since i was running out of space anyway but I'm wondering if and how i go about putting Vitashell on the internal memory and clean my system up so when i get the new card i can go in as "fresh" as possible and eliminate anything that could be causing the suspend/sleep issue i was originally trying to fix.

I see some people suggest yamt over storage manager now? Is there a collection of must haves and the best versions of plugins and such going back in?

Thanks to anyone who could be bothered reading this wall of text. It's been ages since I've done anything vita hacking related and I've basically forgotten how to do everything.

Ta. That's the guide i originally used. Is it safe to do the entire process again even tho i have enso 3.65 permanently installed and access to vita shell etc?

Can i just copy the vitashell folder and paste it into the internal memory too in case i mess things up with my card etc?

@Hyroero ,do a system restore and format the internal memory and then follow the guide i linked in the previous post,so it is safer not to have errors after the hack.

I had actually already done both of those things but enso is installed permanently so it isn't removed via those methods. Vitashell was just left over on my Vita memory card and even though i formatted that through the vita's storage options it seemed to hang around.

When i reboot if i don't hold L+R i can't get to vita shell because i assume the sd2vita plugin launches during boot. If i do hold i can but enso doesn't run and i can't see Henkaku in settings (i can if i just boot normally)

@Hyroero only the bootanimation remains,in reality the PS Vita don't have the hack because if you try to open an app it tells you that the file is corrupt or you have to reinstall it,and you can't install any apps and games.

Ah. That's good to know. If i boot with holding L i can still see a few of my old apps like mgba emulator which still launches? Vita homebrew browser, PKGj Adrenaline 6.61 (also launches) and the enso bubble. But the Henkaku in settings is gone and it says i'm running 3.69 normal Firmware.

@Hyroero ,i recommend that you downgrade to 3.65 for greater plugin compatibility and avoid future problems.

Alright. https://vita.hacks.guide/downgrading-firmware-(3.65).html Seems straight forward enough. My new microsd should be here next week then I'll start the guide from the start and hope for the best. Should be alright even though restore obviously hasn't / can't remove all traces of the previous enso installation?

Thanks again for your help.

Edit: Some reddit threads say there is risk of brick if i try to install enso again over the top? and that enso isn't removed by system restores at all since it gets installed deeper/elsewhere.
