Hacking [HELP] Ver 4.0.0-7u Profile Error

Hi,

I'm trying to use emunand to play CIA's. I have followed some tutorials and every time I enter settings->Profile->Nintendo DS Profile Settings, my 3ds show a message saying:

an error has occurred, forcing the software to close. the system will now restart (unsaved data may be lost.)


rxtools is not compatible with this version? (4.0.0-7u)

Pretty sure Mset only works with 4.1-4.5.
Start rxTools with the browser and download an update pack to 9.2.0 from a certain ISO website that I can't link here.
Then go into rxTools DevMode, install sysupdater, and update. I'd recommend following a tutorial while doing this, as it is possible to brick or update your system to 10.1.

When you're done, you can use themehax to autoboot.

I think you need to update to at least 4.1. There are lists on the net about which games contain which system updates. Buy or rent one of those.

Edit: also, don't go past 4.5 with game updates. Make sure you can launch RxTools with the browser before you update any further.

I'll try find another method, I dont know where to rent games (it exists yet?), in last case, buy the game :s

You can try buying a game from a shop (not a sealed copy) and then returning it right away and say you got it for a present but they didn't want it etc etc and you should be able to get a refund.

UPDATE:

After update for 4.4 (with the castlevania game), all is running fine now!
