Hacking Help updating emunand.

I want to update my emunand from 9.9 to 10.1, but I don't know exactly how to do it.

I am on old 3ds 4.2.0-9u sysnand
I have RxTools 2.6
Gateway ultra 3.3 (no gateway card)

How would I update? I don't wanna mess up and get a black screen. Do I update the gateway, then run the emunand through rxtools? I cannot launch gateway mode as I lack the flashcard.
Also, does the latset version of rxtools allow you to update? I cannot find the 3.0 beta everyone is talking about.
Please help, I don't wanna fuck it up.

there's no point in updating GW's launcher if you can't/won't use it to play.

You just need to enter emunand mode with rxTools and update through system settings.
And yes, both the nightlies and 2.6 version of rxTools support the latest firmware in emunand (with O3DS).

There's some fixes and new features. And it's stable with an O3DS. So I would do it if it was me.

In my case i am unable to download 9.5.0-23E new3DS update from 3DNUS , it get stuck in a file and stop downloading without error.

Nintendo removed the files from their servers. That's why it doesn't work. You can find the files in that "ISO" website for the "3DS".

Well i posted here because i didn't find it there , i found one in a french site but it was corrupted >.<

Thanks. I updated to the Rxtools nightly from 10-2-15 and gateway to the newest one. Updated my emunand to the latest version with no issues. thanks so much!
