Hacking [Help]Trying to recover 3ds from accidental ctrsetup..

I was attempting to update my luma (7.0) to the latest and ended up using the setup ctrnand.gm9 with the latest 9.0 boot.firm luma file in root of sd with godmode9..now it just gives me the blue light for a second and turns off. I've tried many solutions but to no avail. Tried different sd cards, trying to boot recovery mode, even put the 7.0 files and nothing safe9bsinstaller inst working either. I would deeply appreciate the help. have a ton of saves! (i know should've been backing up regularly)

Sounds like you're just missing either boot.firm or arm9loaderhax.bin on the root of your SD card.
Try downloading the latest Luma and placing it as boot.firm on your SD card, and if that fails, try downloading Luma 7.0 and placing it as arm9loaderhax.bin on your SD card.

Also, keep in mind that you can't just update from Luma 7 to Luma 9, because the former uses A9LH and the latter uses B9S. If you can boot using Luma 7, follow this guide to upgrade to B9S + Luma 9
