Hacking [HELP] Transfered from Old microsd to new one

I transferred my stuff from my old microsd to my new one, injected the emunand and all that, but it is like I formatted my system because it made another folder with numbers and letters in the Nintendo 3DS folder. How can I fix this???

I want to transfer my emunand to a bigger sd card. Will I experience the same thing if I do this?

One time I had more than 5 folders of random numbers within the 3DS folder. From months of so much transfers. I think I still do have all those folders
But it's known that if you separate the nands, you will have one random number folder for sysnand, and one for emunand.

Should I just use emunand tool to transfer my emunand from an old sd card to a new one?I want to expand my capacity, that's all.

Yep it's completely necessary if you don't want to start your emunand over and keep installed cia's.

You'll need to format the new SD card with emunand (Using emunand9)
Wait actually, emunand9 also does emunand eject and inject I believe.

My question is do we even need emunand tool anymore?

ah, I was also thinking of using emunand9 but got confused reading the thread, it was all about having more than 1 emunand and I just wanted to make a simple transfer. I guess Emunand Tool becomes obsolete after emunand 9
