You just need to plug your 3ds' internal SD (with the emunand on it) into your computer, it'll auto recognize it and allow you to extract.

Try closing the program - ejecting your mSD - reinserting and extracting again.
File size should be 1,269,760kb

If the tool allows you to inject the emunand right now, go for it. If not then yeah create an emunand, then inject the one you backed up to overwrite.

Download the latest version of Gateway - place launcher.dat on your 3ds' SD - Scan the QR code for your region while in Cubic Ninja to get to the Gateway Menu - Create Emunand option.

Or if you have the mset exploit installed already, just place launcher.dat on your SD and use the profile exploit while holding L or just leave the gateway red out.
