Your emunand is likely fine. But rxTools 2.7 is extremely old and is probably still using a 9.6 firm (or perhaps even still using 9.0 firm) during firmlaunch. 10.x firmware is likely not compatible with a firmware this old anymore. Update to a newer 3.0 build and it should boot emunand just fine.
I'm guessing 9.0, as 9.6 is still used by most of cfws for o3ds.

BUMP!
Also, I use rxTools.3dsx to enter emunand, Ive tried using ctr cold boot but I didnt really like it. (menuhax)
Just one thing, I use mac.
I got the old 2.7 package from somewhere on youtube that there was already python file was run (There was a folder)
But does the cdn_firm.py work with mac? I downloaded 2.7.10 version

It might also be a problem with menuhax. Just putting that out there.

Nevermind, disregard that. You don't use menuhax.

Uh... Can you help me with this?
I borrowed my friend's computer and ran cdn_firm.py but I get error. I downloaded python 2.7
The build is fe18563 from lavanoid.github.io

geez, what did you do before setting up rxtools? do you use menuhax?
so heres what happened;
I saw 10.4 update. I updated using the update nag (...) at home menu
It took like 10 sec.
After restarting I used menuhax to get in to emunand
But
I only get loading rxTools screen, Then it goes to complete black, but my friend list (the orange thingy) light still pops.
When I press power for sec and let go, it gives me grey screen where it appears before you turn off 3ds. but if I press home menu there, I get stuck on screen where it says home menu.

delete menuhax on the sdcard, then retry
sd/"Nintendo 3DS"/<ID0>/<ID1>/00000000/extdata/000002cc(J) \000002cd (U) \ 000002ce (E)
to be more precise, you'll delete you home menu theme cache (which is exploited with menuhax)
