My Xbox one s has been gathering dust for a few years so I just dug it out, it was in the insider program so I told it to leave insider program from my PC. Plugged it in and it downloaded the latest system update then booted up. It was in the insider program still so has build 25398.4908.

I told it to do a system reset so it can go back to the public build and the hard drive corrupted itself. I've taken the hard drive out and used the xboxhddman script to reformat the drive and downloaded OSU1 from the Microsoft site but since it's older than the insider build it won't boot up. I need someone to send me the system update partition contents (A & B folders + updater) from an 25398.4908 Xbox One console (insider build) please so I can boot it up again as the OSU file is older than what I have installed I can't boot the console without error E102

If I understand all the news floating around, you've lost your opportunity. Even if you did get the 25398.4478 OS version, M$ pulled the UWP down, no longer available. Start by dropping enrollment with Insider. I cannot confirm it OS patch is system wide. Use a mobile hotspot w/ VPN and find a safe geolocation to pick up update, but as soon as it starts downloading update terminate your hotspot. You'll get the update error but you'll get to see the target OS version is trying to install... repeat VPN new geolocation till you've found the golden 25398.4478 (*please report back which country, if you found the golden firmware*)

I'm aware M$ took UWP down, not aware if patch is live and system wise, good luck.

EDIT : The UWP may possibly get uploaded as a private UWP under a different name, that's why I suggested finding the golden OS version and sitting patiently.

My Xbox updated as soon as I turned it on and it was on 25398.4908 after the update which was still an insider version. I then downloaded the new version of the insider hub and it told me that my device wasn't in the program so I went into system settings and pressed to do a factory reset. I was put into error E102 screen straight after it rebooted.

Disassembled my Xbox and connected it to the PC and all the partitions showed as RAW rather than NTFS so I wiped it using the hard drive script and it just is stuck on the recovery screen, there's no way to get it to re-download the update from there. VPNs and hotspots have nothing to do with it.

I imagine that the game script is up under some different names like the old days of getting emulators onto the Xbox as soon as they take it down 5 more popup.
