Hacking Help please i am missing files for my r4

I need help please. I bought the R4 with the mircoSD 2GB card and but it did not come with a CD. This means i dont have the _DS_MENU.DAT , _DS_MENU.SYSTEM , and the _DS_MSHL.NDS files. i am unable to download these files and i have no clue why. Can someone please email these files ( because i cant download from internet, but i can get from email) to My Email . Im kinda going insane right now

It IS weird but downloads, when they finish, they pop a internet connection up, and then it shuts down and the download restarts. So Splych, please do email me the files. Thanks lots

That's weird. You can email but you can't use the internet? But you need the internet to receive the files xDD

Have you tried going to this site: Current, Main R4DS Site
Download for latest firmware: R4DS 1.18 Firmware (Latest firmware)

You can also use the YSMenu's firmware. Not sure how, so do some research and you will find out. I can still e-mail you the files if you want?

You can get the last firmware officially made by the R4 team (version 1.18) right here on GBAtemp:

Be sure to get the correct language version.

But he also said he had no internet connection when you need the internet to get the files. Unless, browser died, and it won't work. So those were my only guesses...

I'd recommend getting a2h's YSMenu Generator rather than the year old and out dated official firmware.
