Hey guys i got a Ezflash IV not to long ago and figured out how to at least get games on it. An so far the only game that is saving is metroid (so for if that wrong) and that is fine i suck as the game but i would really like to be able to plan and save Super Mario 2:Super Mario World.

So basicly could someone explain how i make the saves work right so i can save the games i play.

Please also note i useing a GBA micro and a SanDisk 2gb mini sd card.

    Thank you

PS if my spelling sucks or wording is wrong please ask me to reexplain i have a hard time with grammer and words sometime.

Super mario titles are odd. Try renaming the game to use 8:3 naming (remember to rename the corresponding save in the saver folder as well)

8:3 naming in case you were unaware is up to 8 characters for the name and 3 for the extension.

Most saves will be fine with long form names but super mario and for some advance wars need the 8:3 treatment.

Not to discount Fast's answer in anyway, but you are processing them w/ the EZ4 client before you put them on the SD, yes?

Any name will work (assuming valid characters of course but all letters should work) as long as it is within the 8:3 standard.

Personally I usually go with SMA1.gba (replacing the number as necessary).

@Pingouin7 below. You do not need 8:3 for most games but for some reason the super mario games will not have the saves written back without it.

You don't need 8.3 filenames, at least not with 1.720 RESET.
The only limitation is that the filename must not exceed 45 characters.
