Hacking Help: Play From Disc Channel

I have a LU70 and used the "Sticky: Modify any Wii 4.2 & below" then used the cioscorp to try and play the backup using the disc channel but they will not play. I tried the NeoGamma R8 Beta 2 but only get the error "DVD Read Error (1020)".

Any ideas how to get it to work in the disc channel without a mod chip?

why not try to use usb loading? don't know about LU70 because it is really a new wii but most probably your wii has the new dvd drive which unfortunately could not run backups.

D3-2 drive (newest, backup-proof drive) typically gives 1020 errors. If corp doesn't work and you are seeing that in gamma, get a usb loader.

If you are dying to play dvds, and don't want a USB loader, you can buy another DVD drive and install it. Sell the D3-2 drive you have on ebay. AFAIK, chips for D3-2 drives aren't out yet.
