hey guys so i installed tinfoil on emummc and also block nintendo server with the emummc.txt in the atmosphere/hosts folder and also did the 90dns

so i tested using the 90dns utility and it show all connection was blocked

i have a question, so i launched into sysmmc/sysnand but tinfoil installer icon still appeared on the hbmenu. Am i safe to play cartridge games on sysmmc and connect to internet as long i dont launch/open tinfoil installer in the hbmenu menu in sysmmc/sysnand ? Is it advicable to remove the tinfoil installer from sd card / switch?

please bear with me as im new to emummc and tinfoil.

If you have the Tinfoil forwarder present on your sysNAND's Title menu then you're pooched. Do not go online, even with legitimate games, you will be banned. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but it's going to happen eventually.

If all you are worried about is having the tinfoil self installer nro in your homebrew launcher, then that is okay. Just don't ever click on it while on your sysNAND, otherwise it's going to install the forwarder, which brings trouble. Matter of fact, I recommend deleting the self installer once you have installed Tinfoil on your emuNAND to avoid these sort of accidents.

Playing cartridge games on SysMMC is safe and you can connect to the internet without any worries, as long as you don't run homebrew like Tinfoil.

hey thanks for the first person post. I tried to search a bit on getting the tinfoil installer remove but i do not see the installer.nro.
probably the thing i saw is tinfoil folder in the sd card/ switch folder which i opened up and only saw the tinfoil.nro but would that delete the tinfoil in emummc ?
