This will sound really odd: I need a severed hand. Before you freak out, let me explain.
You see, I'm working on an in-depth analysis of The Duchess of Malfi, by John Webster. In case you don't know the play, it features a well-known scene in which Ferdinand, the Duchess incestous brother, imprisons her for marrying Antonio, and tries to drive her mad using a group of loons, some wax figures and severed hand that, supposedly, belongs to her husband. I'd LOVE to use the image of the hand in the cover of my work, but everything I find on Google Images is a tad too explicit...
I was thinking on something in the lines of:
Black and white, not too explicit. It would be better if it were in vertical position, like the one in this tutorial.
I guess it won't be really hard to do for someone who actually knows how to draw. Trust me, I tried... and failed miserably. Thanks in advance.
