Hacking Help needed. Wiiflow just keeps kicking me back to homebrew

Hello. As stated on the title, my modded vwii just keeps kicking me back to homescreen whenever I play a game. I haven't managed to start a game that works. I use the wiiu.hacks.guide for vWii modding. I also used USBLoaderGX for vwii but it doesn't detect the HDD, unlike wiiflow. Tried using the back and the front USB ports too. I also tried a Y-USB cable and a normal cable. Sometimes it even blackscreens and i need to plugged out the power cable since i cant hard shutdown. Please help. Thanks in advance
