Hacking HELP!!! MY FLASH CART WILL NOT WORK!

Im new here and im wondering if anyone can tell me how to get my flashcart to work...
information you should know:
1. I bought an r4i 3ds rts
2. I got my flashcart from the gamer depot.
please help me, I really want to start playing and programming homebrew
other places were you can find me:
1. the petit computer dsiware forum
2. minetest forum

oops! sorry if I mixed you up guys... anyway, I forgot to tell you the problem... so, when I run my flashcart it gives me two white screens. the screen on the top said " ? menu" . yes, I installed kernal but please someone please help me! tomorrow im going to leave to oklahoma. and then idaho in three days... so, I don't want to be board.
and did anyone have trouble with "the gamer depot"? if so please tell me the problem and how you fixed it (if you fixed it)! and thank you Yepi69 for replying so quickly!

more problems.
so when I run my flashcart it starts to display the loading screen, then red text pops out of nowhere. it says "please upgrade hardware for support latest firmware".
more things you need to know:
1,I have the latest version
2,I have downloaded the same version more then once.
3, I recently got my flashcart working but 30 minutes later it was stuck on the loading screen.
