Well as i was posting back in other forum (wich was getting a bit out of topic so i made this new one) I want to upgrade my psp that its currently on pro 6.35 A to any version of the B8 be it 6.20, 6.35 or 6.39, all this because the A version isnt compatible with Psx games, wich i really want to play, but, as it stands i am a noob in psp hacking , so i need someone to help me with this in baby steps, in the other forum someone said the best way was to upgrade to 6.39 ofw then downgrade to 6.20 and install pro b8 to that version, i guess it would be nice since i could permanently mod the psp, i readen that if you try to downgrade the psp lower than it should go it can brick, since i got a psp go i think its fine to go to 6.20 ? well all help is welcome!

so, its safe to simply erase my PRO-A then use the downgrader right away and change from my 6.35 to 6.20 and install 6.20 pro-b8 Without any risks ?

once you uninstall PRO-A go to system info and make sure you're on 6.35 OFW
To be safe, make sure you uninstall PRO-A before you use the downgrader

since you're on 6.35, it might be easier to just run PRO-B8

I think you can just press triangle to uninstall PRO-A than run it again but this time press x to install PRO-B8.

Do this at your own risk, I've never used PRO-A so I'm not sure.

1-Delete the current 635PROUPDATE and FastRecovery in PSP/GAME on your PSP
2-Download 6.35 PRO-B8 and 6.35 PRO-B8 Fast Recovery
3-Extract both archives
4-Copy 635PROUPDATE, FastRecovery to PSP/GAME on your PSP
5-Run 6.35PRO-B8 Updater from your PSP under Game - Memory stick
6-Press triangle to uninstall the current CFW in your PSP
7-Run 6.35PRO-B8 updater again
8-Press X to install it
9-Once it's done, it'll prompt you to press X to finish installation, press X
10-To re-enable the CFW after a cold boot, use 6.35 Fast Recovery for PRO-B8.

I do recommend that you downgrade to 6.20. It allows you to install permament bootloader or in short: boots up ur PSP go in 6.20 Pro-b8 instead of having to do a recovery or anything like that if you turned off ur PSP.
Its not really hard.
Simply uninstall Pro-b8 6.39. (Same way you uninstalled Pro-A)
Make sure your on OFW 6.39
Download the downgrader from 6.39 to 6.20(Google is your friend)
Run the downgrader
Download and install Pro-b8 6.20
After that run the permament bootloader(should be together with the pro-b8 updater)
And done your on 6.20 Pro-b8 permament =)
