Well try this

Start the game, hold A,B,X,Y and it should ask to format the save data. After you do that, try the installer again, and make sure you pick the right settings for the system you are using it on. old 11.0.0-33U or whatever it is. And see if it works.

Nope.

If it still doesn't work. Go to the website where you got the starter.zip and download the right version other app bin, and rename the fille to "Payload.bin" Then use fbi installer to inject the payload bin into the game card. (Make sure you using latest fbi installer 2.3.2 it has save managament support.)

The installer may not have gotten the right payload.

I seem to also be having a problem launching oot3dhax. i set my 1st save file to be used with old 3ds 11.0.0.33 fw. below is what i brought to my sd card for the old 3ds. i used oot3dhax from hombrew on my hacked new 3ds. when i go to try and launch homebrew through oot3d it doesnt even change screens to show its trying to boot homebrew it just crashes. can anyone help me?

If you manage to load homebrew and it crashes just try again, is not 100% reliable.

@GalladeGuy Make sure you input the version and region of the console you are trying to hack not the one you installed it on.
idk if you did but thats a common issue, dont kill mah if im wrong lol

I double checked that I did.
