Hacking Help installing a patched n64 vc game?

I tried to install Dobutsu no Mori (Animal Forest) on my wii. It worked, but I only have sound and no visuals. To translate it I extended the ROM from 16,000 kb to 32,000 kb then applied a UPS patch. Any help in getting visuals would be appreciated

just about, only things missing are a large portion of the item names and a few hundred lines of text exempt from the gcn version. A 5 year project slowly drawing to a close....

Somebody made a custom jap WAD which looks pretty good, but maybe you're right, if it's injected into a different ROM it could work better.

It's the only way to play this on a console at full speed without paying for anything that I can think of, and this game must be played. It's by far the best in the Animal Crossing series.
