Hello so I’m kinda new to this and I want to install cfw on my 3ds but I already have steelhax
(I got it from one of jack sorrell’s videos can’t remember exactly which one but its kinda like this one)
(and yes now i know I shouldn’t use videos but I did this a few years ago)

So do I need to uninstall this to be able to install the cfw? if so does anyone know how?
Thanks in advance

If you still have the movable.sed file you should be able to continue directly with installing B9S.
https://3ds.hacks.guide/installing-boot9strap-(usm)

Should not be a problem to start from the beginning as well if you prefer that. Steelhax is just a save file exploit and no real modification to the console. If you want to get rid of it just delete Steeldiver. I would keep it for now. If something does not work with the current unSAFE_Mode (USM) method you can use Steelhax as entrypoint for legacy methods. Once CFW is installed the Steelhax entrypoint will probably not work anymore (and is useless) so you should delete it when done.

Your console should be on latest firmware before continuing with the guide.

If you have any further questions or problems just ask again.

Good luck and have fun!

That does not answer the question.
