Hacking [help] getting a new 3ds xl

if I get a new 3ds xl can I just simply put in my sd card from the old system and I would have luma and everything or does it not work

no, old 3DS is not the same as NEW 3DS, it will potentially brick or it will not work

DO NOT do this because you are not using emunand. Safest way is reinstalling a9lh+luma on your new 3ds. Don't use your old SD card

Nope, it won't work. First of all, you have to hack the new system.

What I'd do in this case would be:

- Get the new system

- Get A9LH (https://3ds.guide)

- Manually back up all data and restore it to the new system (I'm not sure if System Transfer would work with non-legit titles)

I think system transfer moves all games, including CIA games, if both systems are running A9LH. Could be wrong, though.

Not so sure about that. It only moves legit titles iirc. I think ppl tried it before.
