I want to mod my gameboy advance sp AGS-001 model

I have been searching for hours and I couldn't find any full guide for GBA SP
(There are many guides for GBA and a few guides for GBA SP and not that explanatory)

I just want to do LCD screen mod(not with brightness control)

Is there a full basic guide for AGS-001 backlit mod?

The effort, time and money you'd expend in such project is not worth, seriously. You'd be better buying a regular AGS101.

BUT, if you really want to mod something, there are kits on aliexpress and ebay to mod the original GBA (AGB001). It seems easier, but requires some soldering skills.

My advice is: save some money (if you don't have enough to buy one right now) and buy a backlit gba. It may be expensive but it's totally worth it.

Thanks for your reply. I already bought an ags-101 model because I have no no soldering skills and I considered these backlit kits are too expensive.
