ROM Hack Question Help Editing Palico in Switch Save

So I've been trying to edit my Palico in Monster Hunter Generation Ultimate, trying to make him get some of the DLCs skills (Triforce, Baddest Cat Ever and Zombie), but with no luck, since all skills get unequipped at the start of the quests. I've read the guides to changing RNG Learned Skills and the order of them, but those guides don't include DLC Skills, so I can't figure out what to do now.

If u search on the thread of the original 3ds save editor, people have talked about pakico modding. I don't really know what changed from xx to gu, but u can have a look on the sabe editor for that.
