hello im trying to use superdump 1.3 i installed it into the hb channel but when i press a to dump my retail copy of metroid other m it says error initalizing usb is device present i know my 32 gig flash drive is preset as my usb loader sees it how do i solve this or is there another program i can use to dump my retail game im running 4.3u and i used modmii to softmod my wii

You can use ANY usb loader to automatically install to your usb.
fire up your usb loader, with your usb in correct port, put the retail in the wii, choose "install" and your wii will read the disc and install to your usb device. Is your usb formatted to FAT32?
Is there a folder on the usb called "wbfs"?

the disk is brand new i just took it out of the shrink rap an hour ago its not even dirty i took it out of the wrap and into my wii it went

i still cant get my retail metroid game to rip to my usb drive i have tried 3 different usb loaders and they all freeze between 43 and 47% but the game plays fine in my wii

Both of the Metroid disks are duel layered. Im guessing its stopping right before the layer skip. Make sure your version of USB loader/dumper is capable of doing duel layers.

How old is your Wii? Some really old ones (or ones in houses with smokers) have trouble with Dual Layer discs. Used to be you could send it to Nintendo to fix (not recommended since you're hacked) or the other solution was to use a Wii cleaning kit.

+1

Try and play the disc and see if your wii can even play it. Wii Cleaning kit did not fix my problem with dual layer games, I had to replace my drive.
