Howdy all!

I'm trying to convert my NO$GBA saves to a G6DS Real format with no luck.

I'm using the online converter at www.shunyweb.info and I'm not sure if I'm doing it right.

I'm not sure if the save should be converter to the .0 format or somethign else. I think the G6DS takes a .sav

Any ideas?

You have to change the config settings in the .ini file.
Look where the SAV/SNA File Format == Compressed and change the compressed to Raw. It works for me.

Does this change the save strucutre of the G6DS back to the original .0 format?

I guess I was under the impression that the G6DS OS converted old .0 saves to the new .sav format automatically. I guess that's not the case?

What does the G6 need? I think .sav
You can't use the No$Gba save because it isn't 512 KB big, this is why you have to change the settings to Raw, to get the proper size. If you need .0 save, then you can use a converter for it.

Ahh I think there was some miss communication. I was under the impression taht you wanted me to change the .ini file on my G^DS to accept raw, though it sounds like I need to change the .ini file for No$GBA.

I'm guessing once this is done, there is no need to use the online conversion tool and I should be able to copy the save file directly to my G6 cart?

Yes, you have to change the Emulator's .ini file. Once you did it, save in game again to make it changed. After you have done it, you can use it on your G6.

Hmm looks like I'm still having problems. I changed the parameter in the.ini file to RAW, did another in game save, and then transfered the .sav file from the Battery folder to my G6DS.

Still doesn't work. The g6 doesn;t recognize the save

And after you gained the raw file you tried converting it from:
Raw to your card format via this website?
http://www.shunyweb.info/convert.php?

Greetz, Vistabuser.

I tired it with the compressed file with no success though i have not tried it with the RAW file. However, the G6DS and the M3DS no longer use a .0 save file (which the shuny converter still uses). This was changed in April of last year. They now use the more standard .sav format found in supercard, cyclo ds.

If my understanding is correct, the RAW save formats for No&GBA should be the same as the one G6DS now uses.

Thats rather strange.
I must confirm that using savegames from no$gba to DSTT has no trouble what so ever.
Nor the other way arround.
Hope you find a sollution

As you say:

Did you try converting from raw to any of these formats?

No i didn't so I might give that shot. It just gets tedious going the whole process over and over.
