basehaxx crashes when trying to launch the homebrew launcher. it's an out of region game. i'm trying to make it an entry point, use ctr-httpwn then download sub wars to make a digital entry point.

when i press launch exploit the 3ds crashes. i'm on 11.0

You mean OR/AS? What exactly do you mean by 'out of region'?

So are you able to start ORAS, get to your secret base and it's when you try to rename your base that the game crashes? How exactly does it crash?

Make sure you've correctly installed basehaxx for your 3DS region, system version and whether it's New/Old.

Also, by which method did you install basehaxx?

browserhax/menuhax

I imagine that this is the reason why it's not working. I believe the region you specify to install to the cartridge has to be for both the game region and the system region. How are you running the game?

browserhax/menuhax
I should note that if you have Menuhax 3.0 installed (which you would, being on 11.0), then ctr-httpwn will most likely not work as you'd be unable to return to home menu from the homebrew launcher without rebooting, regardless if whether the entrypoint you're using is menuhax or not. What you could try is using ctr-httpwn through menuhax, and then russing eShop through something like HANS, thus getting rid of the need to use basehaxx at all. I imagine you're unable to run browserhax now, but if you are able, then I would use that to remove menuhax and run ctr-httpwn.

One thing you could try would be to update the hax by using the menu that appears when you trigger the exploit, or by installing the hax again (after restoring a previous, hax-less save) as the other region (EUR if you first installed it as USA, or vice-versa).

If that doesn't work, then I believe your only option would be to get a US region ORAS cart.
