Long story short I have 2 switch's both exploitables, difference is that one of them I installed tinfoil and everything works flauless, second switch could never install tinfoil (we'll call it goldleaf console), actually that one could never run fusee, had to boot from RCM to hekate, now the issue is that I can't install a few games that I wanted on the goldleaf console, some of them are "new" like kirby, but some are old like animal crossing, I have updated the sigpatches and everything else that I could on it have the latest goldleaf as of today and still can't install.
so...
1.- is there another way that I can install those games? (already tried tinleaf as well with the same results)
2.- is there a reason why hekate bin will work but not fusee and also a way to fix this?
3.- would it be easier to just format and reinstall everything on that console?

Thank you, have a great week!

Thanks for the reply

1.- Awoo wont even run, it just closes, trying dbi, will edit with the results (it closes and goes to black screen, have to turn off the switch and re run hekate)
2.- I've tried with every version up to yesterday of fusee, including the one in Atmosphère 1.3.0 (pre-release)
3.- Sd is in exfat, any advise to follow any specific guide? forgot to mention Kingston canvas select plus 128gb

I think, maybe the problems could come from your Exfat formatted card, try to reformat in fat(backup eeverything before) and then setup everything from scratch..

Update
formated the SD to fat, tried about 6 versions of fusee still wont boot to fusee, hekate boots fine, goldleaf/tinleaf still wont install some of the games, tinfoil/awoo/dbi wont even open as before, the few games that used to work can be installed again with no problems and played, also I've checked on the other switch and the SD is formated to exfat with no issue on any game.
Already formated the switch also.
Any other ideas? or it might be that there are some switches that wont boot to fusee and only work with hekate:ohnoes:?

There's something fishy about the Switch that won't run fusee. If you did a nand backup before you started hacking it, you should flash it back, and then start from scratch. Make an emunand while you're at it, so if it screws up again, you would just replace your emunand. That would probably solve your issues of DBI not working (and you want that, as it's one of the best installers out there).

Forgot to mention, make sure your Kingston microSD is legit, too, not a fake. That would cause endless problems.

I didn't create the nand back up at that time because I didn't knew how to do it on hekate, and it never ran fusee, is there a way for me to have it clean again? already did a format on the console but didn't help with runing fusee
Edit: also about the emunand... is it possible to have an emunand runing evn if I didn't create the back up? if so, would that help?

Yes, it's possible to create an emunand without the nand backup you should have made, but the thing is, it probably wouldn't help you, as it would just be a snapshot of your current system, and your current system is buggy. You'll probably have to troubleshoot manually, then. I would start with checking if the SD card is genuine or not. Out of curiosity, which guide did you follow (if any) to hack your Switch consoles? I wonder what kind of guide would not explain how to make a nand backup first?

So how would I go about troubleshooting manually? The Sd is genuine, I kinda followed the guide from the hombrew site (don't know if I can post any links) it was on the guide just didn't follow that at the time, I was checking on the site and it says that I can downgrade, if I try that will it erase everything and put me back on a errorless stock?

There are some apps that claim to clean your nand to start fresh like haku33, but I never used it, so I can't give any advice if it would help or not. I think it can also be done manually, but again, I have no experience. Be aware that a ban is always possible with dealing with these solutions, so if it matters to you, be careful. About downgrading, I don't see how it would help, and it could introduce new problems, so I wouldn't take that path.

Thank you I will try it, I really don't mind the console getting baned, I don't really play online.

Edit: I found the files of when I installed on that switch and found a picture I took and it had an error while doing the backup
SD & eMMC data (@LBA 011D0000) do not match
Verification failed...
Please try again...
Failed!

You got that after running haku33? Did you make a nand backup before, as the author recommends? If you have another SD card, try it.

Ok, you need to boot hekate and get to the sd card info screen and take a pic of that. post it here.

And please understand that hekate is not CFW. It is a loader for CFW. In BOTH bases, you are still running (or trying to run) Atmosphere. Fusee just happens to look for different options in different files, so other than that info screen (so we can tell if your card is either fake or the socket is damaged... hekate will try to load things in 1 bit mode if it's damaged, while fusee won't, iirc), you need to compare your Atmosphere settings, if you have any. Those being:

/mesosphere.ini
/Atmosphere/config/system_settings.ini
/Atmosphere/config/stratosphere.ini

I'm assuming here that you're using the same hekate_ipl.ini on both systems...

I got that about 3 months ago it seems that was the reason why I didn't do the back, Trying with a Kingstone 64gb in a few minutes, will post the result ASAP

Don't have this also
/Atmosphere/config/system_settings.ini
/Atmosphere/config/stratosphere.ini
I have them on
/atmosphere/config_templates
that I asume is the default for everything for lazy/noobs like myself that won't know what tp do with that lol

Edit: same thing happened with a Blapcs 64gb sd, ADATA 64gb, ADATA 16gb, Kingston 64gb unable to install tinfoil/games.
Also checking on the info from hekate noticed that it says Burnt fuses 0DM 7/6, Idk what that is so just upload it as info that might be helpful.hw fuse.jpeg
while I was checking the info and the cards I noticed that hekate freezes is I don't move anything in about a minute and I have to turn it off and go in RCM again.

Well, the good news is that your card and socket both look ok. Except that hekate wouldn't use a 16KB cluster. To be sure, you might want to format it with hekate, as it will make it 64KB clusters with no bugs. It's done through the partitioning menu, just leave it all for HOS unless your plan is to make an emummc. IF the contents of your card take up less than 1GB, it will restore everything for you. If there is more on that card, then you'll have to manually back it up and restore it.

This isn't going to fix your issue, though. At least I don't think it will... The fact that you say loading through hekate works, but fusee doesn't is very strange. Did you at one point restore boot0 and/or boot1 from one console to the other? That would be bad...

EDIT: And by the way, after formatting, I would try another full backup, to include boot0/boot1... basically back up everything. You should not accept any error of any kind on these backups. If you do, your sd card could still be bad, even though it's not fake. In that case, you'll want to run h2testw on the card, and select "use all available space". It's time for me to sleep, but my Google foo tells me this is an sd card error, one way or another...

Update,
I did the format with hekate in several SD's with basically the same results in all but one card (kingston 32gb), that one card won't show a black screen while trying to load fusee, instead it will show "A fatal error occurred when runing fusee, Failed to mount the SD card, press power to reboot.
But it wont let me install the games/apps mentioned before.

I've never restored anything on it

After formating I tried full backup (GPP) with all of the cards (9 cards different brands/GB) and it would give me the same error at one point, some at 20%~ others at 80~ but all gave errors

None of this makes sense. (edited: just saw your updated harware info)
Do you have autoRCM on?
What firmware version is it?
Can you power completely off, do a normal power on (OFW), and play a game cartridge?
You didn't try installing a firmware using anything other than either online or with Daybreak, did you?

If your answers to all of those questions are favorable, then I'm afraid you have a hardware problem that you will not be able to fix. Either your emmc, or the ram, is faulty. Really, you should never have tried anything at all without getting a FULL and error-free emmc backup.

Is this an Erista? Yes
Not ipatched/chipped? Unpatched, no chip
Do you have autoRCM on? Nop
What firmware version is it? 14.0.0
Can you power completely off, do a normal power on (OFW), and play a game cartridge? yes but I only have one to test (BOTW)
You didn't try installing a firmware using anything other than either online or with Daybreak, did you? nop, haven't mess around with that

If HW issue I'll have to get another one then

It makes me wonder if the SD card slot is healthy or not. The fact so many different SD cards were tested with similar results would point to that direction.
