Yo So heres the deal:
Gf bought a 2ds XL. And a flashcard.
We managed to install CFW and b9s?
And managed all the way to getting games from the freeshop. everything should be happy days.
She played Alpha sapphire for an hour and Boom the following happened while Tacklin a wurmple

An Error Occured (err disp)

Error Type: Generic

Process ID: 39
Process Name: Sango-2
Process Title ID: 0x000400000011c500

Adress: 0x00135adc
Error Code: 0xd900458b

This happens multiple times.

So far what ive tried from a bit of research:

Tried deleting a save ini file in godmode? it reset the menu' and was supposed to reset a brick?
Sadly did this nothing

We've been told it could be corrupt SD card. Yet, it is freshly formatted. and it is only Alpha sapphire that dies. other games she plays seems to not crash.

Im kinda running out of ideas, as i don't understand fully how any of it works.

Afaik the 3ds firmware is: 11.6.0-39e
And Luma version: 9.0

I attached a photo

Hopefully someone can help explain to me what i can do next or if its just RIP.

- I might try n disk check the SD card

So tackle is probably not the best tech to use against wurmple.

It doesn't sound like a serious problem, maybe try restoring nand or replacing the b9s files on the SD card.

well so ye we did this and it backfired. so guess who's unpopular now. it obviously brought us back without games and saves now.

Sorry, I assumed you were really close to the beginning of the game. Did you update the firmware?

Not only the begining still lvl 20, but also her other games. that she spent playing while i tried to figure it out is gone now.
We din't update the ds firmware. we just restored. as it seemd like we were running the newest Luna and the firmware on 3ds that fits.

- Now the sad thing is we see the games on the SD cart, but they obviously cannot launch. (im hiding in my room, she isen't happy, temperfull woman)

Could you list who dumped the version of the game you're using? Is it a private dump or a scene release?

Status:
We restored the nand, and Somehow restored the games + saves ( as they were on SD)

We played for 30 mins, to try n see if we could force the error again.
7140c5a5-4c7a-43f6-8944-bc16e85b9c1a

it did.

Fugelmir, im not sure how i can check that in freeshop - let me know how.

It seems to be the only game that does this still. the rest seems to run, with no issues.

Excellent, I hope it runs well. If it's freeshop, it should definitely be a 1:1 copy (barring download errors).

So what do i do in regards to that one game? just delete and forget all about it :( cry in a corner and sob?

Oh, the image didnt work for me. Maybe using a scene rip would fix it. Apparently that error code comes from bad rips of the game so

freeshop --> delete and redownload (lose save data) or
download cia ---> install (start over from beginning)

There are ways to retrieve and inject save data between games, but I never learned how to use them.

Don't exactly know what you mean by Scene rip. (i can see now the image was not up rip)

We' are trying to backup the save data, and redownloading, status will follow :)

- Also thx again for all the help

I know it`s a bit late, but I had the same error and I just had to backup my savefile and then get another rom (I own the game and had the error with my self-dumped rom). That solved it for me
