Hello, starting with retro games on a wii u system, Any recommendations?

Mostly really old consoles like NES, SNES, Master System, Genesis, etc. No offense, but the Wii U isn't the greatest emulation console, so just stick to the above, or you may be disappointed.

No offense taken, most of the people try to convince in what console / plataform is the best, the answer is simply, we all want to play some games but we all are limited by what we have or what we can get to play with, at this time, what I have is a PS2, a Nintendo SNES, a 2ds and a Wii-U, also a PC with core 5i with 12 Gb of ram

It is a little late now, however, by unlocking the VWii cpu, you may be able to successfully emulate 5th gen consoles, (N64, PSX,) also you can use Nintendont to natively play GameCube as well
