I enjoy older jrpg's mostly from ps1/2 era. Some of my favourites are Final Fantasy & Legend of dragoon

Recently acquired a WiiU and am setting it up for my Kids for Xmas, which has lead me down this rabbit-hole...

Rabbit hole? Setting up a WiiU isn't that bad if you follow the instructions unless you have plans to mod the system to make them experience some of the world of modding at their young age.

Oh it's a rabbit hole alright: finding pro controllers, motion-plus remotes, nunchuks, wheel accessories, gamecube controllers, 4-way adapters, gamepad batteries, modding, injecting, nintendont, plaza themes...

It starts with "the kids might enjoy a bit of wii bowling" and before you know it you're writing python scripts to generate custom waruwaru plaza posts!

I'm sorry, but are you able to explain more about this? I don't have much general knowledge about WIi modding, and this is new to me.

And as for this... Yeah I can see what you mean by a rabbit hole.

Nintendo shut down the "miiverse" so the WiiU home screen now has default Mii's chatting about non-existent features - this can be changed by modding your system and uploading new Mii's & posts. You can even change the floating icons.
