Gaming Hellishly cheap laptop needed! Any suggestions?

[Requisite]

See title and description.

I don't need much storage, maybe 10 GB or so, but at least 1 GB RAM.
I've found a few, here they are:

- Dell Inspiron Mini 9
- Compaq Presario CQ50Z
- Dell Inspiron 1525

Suggestions?

Suggested to me by Linkiboy. Pretty much the same specs (at least I think it is) as MSI Wind U100 but with more storage space. They're both the same price on newegg.

I'm not attracted to the low battery life, though.

EEEPC isn't really an option, I would really prefer XP instead of Linux.

Yes, but all of the ones I've seen with windows are over $500.

I don't have much money, but my birthday is in 4 days, and Christmas is in a few months.
So that should get me some cash, all in all about $400 max.

Also, the U100-039US and U100-053US both come with 6-cell batteries.

Yeah. Just pirate xp. I would buy a 1000H with linux but they're not available around my area (or was it that it doesn't come with linux at all?).

If anything, this might help. But don't let it affect your choice too much 'cause its only based on one review. It was a review for the Asus 1000h on neweggs.

Pros: I have had both the 1000h and the MSI Wind, and compared with the Wind, the ASUS 1000h is very solidly built and an overall better netbook. With the Wind there were areas that were of suspect quality and the plastics felt thin and cheap, and that is not so with the 1000h. The Wind also would wobble and tilt backward if you laid the screen fully back, where the 1000h sits sturdily. Also suspect with MSI was there technical support that was quite unhelpful. The last strike for the Wind was the touchpad issue where they got rid of their Synaptics and put in a less functional one. Thankfully with the wind there is a very useful multi-touch touchpad.

Cons: The right shift key, which actually isnt much of an issue with me since I use the left shift key.

Other Thoughts: Overall if your looking for a nice little netbook that has a good build quality and spacious hard drive, this is the one for you.

The EEE pc 1000h is cheaper the linux version (EEE pc 1000) and also has better specs and performance over the MSI wind.

Just my 2 cents
