I’d like to know why usb helper vc ds games won’t work with haxchi ? Is the process using the nintendo network to check the ds game or what ? I’d just like to know what’s the difference between the two of them. Thanks

Mocha and haxchi do what is called signpatches. The wiiu will refuses to run/load any game that doesn't have a valid ticket. So installing the ds vc, will make it faked signed, so you need to run mocha in order to run the ds game. Which means haxchi won't work without signpatches, defeating the point of having it in the first place. When you buy said eshop game, it has a valid ticket, so the wiiu can run it without fakesigning/signpatches.

VC games are only available on the eshop, which means there aren't dumped disc tickets available for them. That means a "fake" ticket must generated using the titlekey. Since tickets are signed and Nintendo's private key isn't known, there is no proper way for us to sign anything, including this generated ticket. This is why pirated VC games need CFW in order to disable the signature check and allow it to launch.
