I'm trying to install Free MCboot on a PS2 phat, I downloaded the files, put them on my USB stick, but it's not showing up on the browser. The stickied guide is diffivult to follow (HTML codings everywhere) and I need to know some things.

I know the USB stick has to be fat32. Does byte allocation matter (32/64)? Does the PS2 phat model matter? I tried two different USB sticks, a microsd/usb converter and an SD/USB converter, none of which seem to even have power going to them. I tried two different HDDs and they come on, but don't show up on the PS2.

I don't currently have any cheat devices. I got AR MAX ordered. I heard you can use a ps1 disc as well. Still doesn't explain why my usb sticks aren't even receiving power.

The USB stick shouldn't pop up in the PS2 browser at all.
As far as I can remember that is.

Anyway, launch the exploit and then it should show up.

Like DaFixer said, if the LED doesn't start blinking, your ports are probably dead.

You should try to 007 Exploit. All you need is original game, burned copy with exploit injected, and an open PS2. It is very simple to get running.
