Gaming Having trouble w/ R4-III Upgrade+Chrono Trigger

hi guys...
unfortunally my R4-III ( this one: http://r4iiisdhc.com/ ) doesnt want to play Chrono Trigger DS. ive got the newest firmware.
i have tested a lot of things, like patching the roms and so on.
if i use the normal, unpatched rom i can play chrono trigger to Time Warp 1, but this time warp wont end. if i start the patched version both screens get (and stay!) white.
would be very nice if u can help me.... im just searching some hours, and ive really tried a lot of things.

have you tired the unpatched rom+bypass cheat code
or
get a better card

what means "bypass cheat code"? do you mean using the CHEAT.DAT? if yes, then please tell me how to use it, and when (in game, in menu or whatever)

tried some things with r4cce, but it wont work =/ i think im just too stupid... -.-

maybe i just need some special data to run CHEAT.DAT?
