i'm trying to check if it's possible to play on multi on this game using some tricks and port forwarding to host a game of mario party ds (game which doesn't support wifi multi by default).

however, i'm stuck at the first step: making local multiplayer work. my ethernet adapter is selected, direct more is enable, local mode is enabled, by when i search for a session, it doesn't find my other instance of melonds.

any idea?

yeah, i know about that, started the ds menu on the second emulator, trying to download play but seem like it's downloading infinilty

Nothing appear on the host, it just keep downloading

EDIT: i rebooted both instances, now it appear on my host, but when i press ok, the host FPS Lower to 30, and then, communication failed.

i've read somewhere that the timing is tight to make download play work, so i believe this fps drop cause the communication to fail
