I have recently gotten a TTDS and been trying to get SNEmulDS to work on it (I dont' have any Slot 2 device) The emulator itself will work but I can't get the emulator to read the snes roms. Do the roms themselves need to be a .nds file or not? I have tried putting the emulator in the same file labeled "SNES" as the roms are in but it won't read it. I have also tried leaving the SnEmulDS outside the SNES file and it still won't read it.

From what I have read it can work without a slot 2 device..am I correct on this?

I will talk you through it step by step
1.Make sure you have a file on your micro sd card called Snes
2.Take the Snes game make sure it is in a .smc file
3.The Snemulds you can put anywhere on your micro sd card
Turn on your flashcart and it should work
NOTE: Some Games do not work on there such as Mario Kart, Super Mario RPG...etc
and yes you do not need a slot 2 device

do you convert them to cfg files or is it easier to find them...i'm trying google and getting no results the file I have says finalfantasy3.nes

what is the cfg file? I only have the game file itself.

Eh. Are you talking about NES or SNES? If I'm not wrong, SNEmulDS runs SNES roms.

The .cfg is a file that comes with the zip package of SNEmulDS. You need both the .cfg file and the .nds(SNEmulDS) file. Put your roms anywhere, open it up with wordpad, and change the directory of where your roms are stored in the .cfg.
