I have a 2TB Western Digital external HDD, it was being extremely slow, so I tried formatting it, "Format could not complete", kept getting this error, I tried another computer, quick format worked, but it would take like 50 minutes to copy over a 1GB file, so I tried a full format, after 30 hours it was at less than 1%..
I tried taking it out of the casing and putting it directly in the PC, quick format worked once again, but it's still taking 30+ minutes to copy a 1GB file.
Is my hard drive shot? Anything else I can try?
