Ive been trying to randomize my Pokemon Moon and I follow all the steps but HANS doesn't start up Moon. Instead, it crashes. Help me please!

are you sure you compiled/rebuild your romfs and "gameid".code files properly?
Im a noob... I just followed the steps and it didnt work. If you have link to a tutorial that could help me, please post it. I want to randomize and play Moon so badly. I know for sure I rebuilt the romfs properly but I didnt even rebuild the gameid.codes. The tutorial I used didnt say anything about them.

.code files is basically your exefs file which is used to randomize tm as for the romfs first are you sure you properly dumped your rom/cartridge?

you used brain dump... did you use the pack hack v5.5 to extract the romfs? after that when you rebuilt it what did you name your file and where in your sd card did you put it?
I didnt use the pack hack, I named it 00175e00.romfs, and on the root of my sd card in a folder named hans.
well did you use pk3ds to rebuild the romfs if yes then which build and did you try 00175E00?and are you positive that files extensions are displayed on you system?it might be a case of lower case e or it might be thecase of 00175E00.romfs.romfs....
I used Pk3ds and I know for a fact it isn't romfs.romfs but it may be the lowercase e, im really not sure. If anyone knows, please help me. I used the latest build.

if you have the time then you might want to dump your cart using an older version of brain dump or the latest version works too the difference is it gives a .cxi file and i recommend you look for some tutorials on cfw it makes it so much more easier currently im randomizing the 4th pokemon moon rom for another one of my friends.
yes lately ive been seeing quite a lot of variety of problems with pokemon sun and moon rom all over the net with hans as for cxi i didnt really spot a difference except that you need to dump/decrypt it manually using PACK HACK V5.5
if you check some older threads theres a good possibility that you might find all that you need...i think its against the rules to post a link(dont know for sure)and well theres a loads of videos on youtube and a lot of written guides on google to....just search for how to dump you cart and then extract using packhack and after editing just close down the pk3ds and rebuild it using packhack im recommending packhack because i encountered your problem only once that was when i was using pk3ds so i switched over to packhack but then again the next day pk3ds seemed to work fine?and also you should check if you put it in the correct directory that is sd://hans/xxxx.romfs, xxxx.code and not sd/3ds/hans/xxxx.romfs, xxxx.code
youll see a files as .code.bin in your exefs after editing with pk3ds you just rename it to gameid.code you do this only if you want to randomize the tm and for me pack hack solved the problem.....
Ah ok since I didnt randomize the tm, I dont need the code right? And Ill try pack hack and hopefully it will solve the problem.
