Hello,

Wanting to reset my Wii U to the factory version, I would like to know if there is a homebrew that resets everything to 0 like Haku33 on Switch?

Although I looked, I couldn't find anything on the subject for Wii U..

Thank you for your answers.

Don't do a factory reset.

If you're set up with Coldboot Haxchi, that will brick the console, and if you're set up with Tiramisu/Aroma, it won't get rid of them because their chainloader is installed into preloaded software which doesn't get erased on factory reset.

There's no homebrew that will "un-hack" the entire console, for that you'll need to know how your console was modified in the first place.

CBHC installed? Don't do a "simple" factory reset. Uninstall cbhc with the installer first and then do the factory reset.

Tiramisu/Aroma installed? Uninstall it first and then do the factory reset. This reset would be enough to start from scratch.

But what's the real reason for this? Is something not working as it should? Or do you want to sell your console? If it's the former, then I don't think you need to reset the console right away. But try it with a problem solution.

Thank you for your responses :)

So, the reason is that I would like to perform the new Tiramitsu hack. Currently, I am on CBHC. That's why I wanted to know if there is a Haku33 homebrew for the Wii U. If it doesn't exist, I will first uninstall CBHC and format the console, even though I know that some residues will remain inside, as I have seen on another post. These are residues of .tik files that persist even after formatting the console.

No need to do a factory reset. Just uninstall cbhc and then follow Wii u.hacks.guide and you are good
