Haha!! Stick to your pi for snes bro!!

The people that buy this stuff doesnt care about other ways of emulation.
Its not just a console, also Its a figurine for a bookcase or shelf

I think you are on the wrong threat here my friend, didn't you read the previous 500 pages?

BTW: I've just heard that Nintendo discontinued it already;)

2 controllers this time, that's nice.

The controller ports look like mini versions of the original ports, not the familiar Wii/NESC ports, so controllers won't be swappable? Bummer

"Unlike the NES Classic, which sold $10 controllers on top of the $60 base package, the SNES Classic comes packaged with two controllers. Even so, only five of the included titles include true simultaneous multiplayer gameplay, with a handful of others allowing for two players to alternate play. The Classic Controller and Classic Controller Pro designed for the Wii and Wii U will also work on the SNES Classic Edition, much like its predecessor."

Also, officially - "The Super NES Classic Edition is compatible with the Classic Controller™ and Classic Controller Pro™ accessories. Just plug it in and play!"

Are you getting the snes classic ?

Already have it. It just looks like a mini nes. But, it does the same thing:) I would buy one if Nintendo makes it possible to. If not, then I can still play 20 of the games, as is. Only Star Fox 2 will be the true appeal, until it gets leaked. It was almost a nightmare getting the nes. I will not endure the same bs this time around. If Nintendo wants my 80 dollars, they know what to do.

---Updated SNES 2010 (Turn overclock mode on, via quick settings, options...for FX Chip games!. May have to exit to main gui after changing settings, then reload game. Save states fine, and normal size:) I will update more cores soon:)

so you can use either /bin/snes or /bin/snes9x2010 ?

Amazon UK already had a preorder for $91 shipped to US.

It doesn't matter which version of Hakchi you have. I'm using 2.14.

You are modifying the individual cores for the emulators in RetroArch. Provided you are using the hmod folders which you add to the user_mods directory, the file you want to modify is in the user_mods\[emulator]\bin folder.

For example, if you wanted to prevent suspend points for the snes9x2010 core, you'd go to \hakchi\user_mods\snes9x2010.hmod\bin\snes10 file (no extension). Open it in Notepad or some other program, and add "--ra-nosaves" to the end of the code.
just going by your example, my snes hmod doesn't have a folder. It's in the user mod folder, but it's just the hmod file.

I use /bin/snes

If you are looking to use both 2005 and 2010 cores simultaneously...a minor adjustment is needed to the hmods to take into account the command line. I just use 2010, however. It works fine with overclock on.

Ah. What I use is available in the "source code" version of the release.

I use the 2005 core only for the Super FX games. I use the "snes" command for 2010, and "snes2005" for the 2005 core.

The Super FX games run too fast for me when overclocked on 2010. Yoshi's Island has some graphical glitches too. With the SNES Classic coming out, this is now irrelevant. :)

Maybe they only added 21 games to the snes classic to avoid c8 errors
Should we go by 21 games only per folder on the nes classic for snes and sega games ?

Super NES Classic Edition, which will go on sale on September 29 this year, at 79.99$

If the interior is the same as the mini nes, we have everything but the star fox 2.

Hopefully the lucky ones of SNES mini can use Hakchi2.

Will the interior have the same as in the nes mini??

I doubt it

The same motherboard, and maybe a cheaper version without 300mb extras, Nintendo reducing costs.

Feels like we're getting short-changed with only 21 games. I must say I'm surprised they didn't at least go with 30, especially when they're charging $20 more than the NESCE.

I have no use for this console until it gets modified, Star Fox 2 or not!

They should hire cluster and add folders to it

No Chrono Trigger? BAH! But Star Fox 2 is a HUGE surprise.

Will the JP/EU release include the original model with non-purple controller? If so, I'll import, because that looks much better.

nah, it's the same ports. looks like those snes ports are just a cover plate that flips down
