Why isn't it possible to use all 300MB (or close to it)? Do you need to "reserve" space for the save states?

My NESC is 298MB full of ROMs and it seems to work fine. I haven't really been saving much though.

I was planning on making a 2nd system with just Neo Geo and trying to fit as many as I can on there but your comment
has me wondering..
I only can speak about the tests I made and the issues I got when I put more of 2 big size ROM games (about 120-150MB)... Maybe can be solved or it's a limitation.

That's because that's the size of it zipped. If you were to go here in this picture and download it and unzip it to get the .so file. Its 25.5mb.
So say you have 277mb worth of games/box art and you have the mame2003 core, a couple of fbalpha cores, retroarch, genesis core, and about 3/4 other .hmod files you would be infringing on the 300MB total for the system I'm guessing. I have read that 300 is a 'safe zone' whereas 390 might be the actual?

Maybe I did something wrong, but mame2010 core don't work. I think maybe it never worked on mini.

Well most I have got is 317mb. At 320 it won't even try. It literally says It's too much and won't let you even try. So I believe between 317-319 is the hard game cap. But recently I had 314 and then added in 25mb mame into my cores folder. And It didn't changed my 314 before or after adding retro again. If 390 is a number floating around I think that could be the cap maybe with mods, saves etc added in idk. I don't think so tho. It's weird.

I'm running 298/300 MB. Using SNES/N64/GENESIS/TG16/NG/MAME2003 cores. No Issues..

I had some issues setting up mine but with the new Clovercon mod it worked well.

Best Advice I can give you is to plug in a second controller and open the binding settings from within a game (Press Select and Start) and bind them in there. Use the second controller to choose the binding setting and press the corresponding button/direction on the 8bitdo controller. You may not even need the new clovercon mod.

Also its a good idea to make sure you have the controller and receiver updated to the latest firmware versions from 8bitdo's site.

I updated the receiver and the controller to latest betas
The buttons are like Y=A=R X=B=L
I'm trying the latest clovercon.hmod file to see if it changes something

With the latest retroarch (git), Select+Start doesn't pull up the RA menu anymore. Anyone else experiencing this?

Today is a good day to check the Sega/Mega CD in our all mighty NESCE... SEGA!!!

This games were ripped all audio track to enter in hakchi2. Snatcher makes a damn noise at times but it's playable I remove the noise from video.

Please, enjoy!

Some of you seem to have installed 2.14rc. So what are the new things in this update?
There are many improvements all around but the most important thing is a new method to transfer the games!
To give you a rough idea... 300MB of games transfers in less than one minute all in one take! :D

Yes. I have the same problem. I can only pull up the RA menu (select + start) in games with other cores like gambette (gb games), but not from games are been run with RA (all NES and FAMICOM games)

Also you can sincro games in mini NES Classic GUI , 3rd party Wii classic controller, add games without 30MB limits, add global command line for all games and also can flash only config no need to synchronize games...And probably something more.

Can't wait to try it out! I'm really hoping for that Wii controller compatibility thing.

Nice. They run great, but desperately need audio. Too bad there wasn't a way to make lower quality audio to go with it.
