Sucks that HBC doesn't work through Preloader, im staying on 1.0.4 until it is fixed as I am using a GC controller.

Did anyone notice in HBC 1.0.5, when you take out your SD and try to reinsert it, you no longer get the "Reload" option?

Hells Yeah. Well done you clever people at Hackmii!!! Seriously, Ninty are compelte retards if they though hardcoding the removal would keep them out for long. They may as well just ask the guys at Hackmii to make the channel full and proper i.e. legitimately.

Still not going to update until a new Bannerbomb style app is made as I do not and have no intention of buying Indiana Jones just for the hack.

Sorry but I need to ask an incredibly daft question now. I've been reading HackMii and I think I know the answer but want to double check with someone who actually knows for certain.

If I update my sisters Wii with the new BootMii and HBC if one of her kids accidentally updates or does it because, well, they're kids then the 4.2 update won't delete this version of the homebrew channel? But it will overwirte the BootMii/boot2?

who wants to take the plunge and tell us if usb loader gx gets fucked up or not
Loaded a few games and it still seems to work fine, but I'm still under 4.1 using the new Hackmii installer.

If I do:
Wii Menu -> Homebrew Channel -> USB Loader GX -> Homebrew Channel
(I can return to the Homebrew Channel from USB Loader GX)

If I try to do:
Wii Menu -> USB Loader GX (forwarder) -> Homebrew Channel
(I get a black screen going from USB Loader GX to the Homebrew Channel)

Are you on 1.9.2? It loads up fine for me.

I have nooooo idea seeing as I'm a TOTAL noob who knows close to nothing about all this. However if this does not work I am screwed.

I'd definitely post this on the USB Loader GX thread.

That's what it looks like. The safe boot2 versions that it was possible to install onto (those from launch to a year or so later I think, possibly less) are updated to boot2v4 (veerrry risky thing to do as a failure WILL result in brick) and Bootmii is wiped, never to be seen again on the system I believe. If Bootmii is installed as an IOS it will be unaffected (if installed via this new installer...I think...) Advice is still not to update as the issues need to be worked around and the only problem is the Shop Channel (would test if 4.1E can get on but I don't want to inadvertantly update and end up either bricking or un-homebrewing my Wii)
