Context: I got a wii from my brother, in the console dash there are several emulators and homebrews installed (SNES, Gamecube, GBA, Homebrew launcher, usb loader gx, ...) but none open, the console has no SD card or storage external.

My question is: can I follow the guide (https://wii.guide/) to install everything again?

No, those what you see at the wii channel menu are forwarders and each one search for an specific .dol file in the sd card to execute the related app.

Indeed you need a sd storage device to copy all the missing files to it such as the Homebrew launcher, the emulators and other homebrew programs.

From that page you linked you only need the sd folder and file system the sd require to properly work on the wii and the homebrew launcher.

The other apps ,emulators and everything else you can find them in this forum.

Those are forwarder apps, you need the files to boot them up on your SD card. Best to delete them except Homebrew launcher and it's backup keep those.
