New release, based on 4.7.1.
Download link in the OP.
This means the GLES2 renderer is now available. Using it instead of the original GL renderer might increase performance at the cost of some graphics effects not functioning. This is also the default setting if you use the config file from the new release, otherwise you can switch to it in the Display options (or Set video mode menu).

Is it known what's behind the startup delay?
Loading stuff from SD card is generally slow. Especially if you're loading a fuckhuge badly designed mod.

Thank you for regularly coming back and updating your stuff. Its always appreciated. Gzdoom in particular a lot of modders new mods will only work on the latest version they built the mods with.

Thanks alot for the update!!

Thanks for the update, but somehow I can't seem to disable mouselook no matter what options I try.

I turn off mouselook in the option but it's still there

do you mean being able to aim vertically?
Options > controller options > switch controller > axis 4 looking up/down
Yes, Doom isn't meant to have free look.
I changed this already but it didn't work, but there were many controllers and I didn't change them all.

I'll try that when I get home.

Thanks

You can disable free look by changing either Gameplay options -> Allow freelook or Mouse options -> Always mouselook, though I don't know if the latter has any effects for joysticks.

That didn't work in verion 0.8 for some reason, but disabling "Options > controller options > switch controller > axis 4 looking up/down" worked.

Thanks all.

Yes. Either replace soundfonts/gzdoom.sf2 with your soundfont or change the path to it in gzdoom.ini, then make sure MIDI Device is set to FluidSynth in the Sound Options.

SUCCESS this is flipping amazing!

Thank you so much!

Out of curiosity, what is the original provided sound font replicating? SB16?
