Hacking GW and MH4 Save Question

I am trying to transfer my retail MH4 save to .3ds game. I backed up save using GW and renamed it to title id. I booted into GW mode and loaded SaveDataFiler. It said CTR Card broken... How can I transfer save? Thoughts appreciated

Those games have 7.x encryption. If you get an answer it will be the same as VerseHell and I gave you, but have at it.

GW does not dump in SDF format.

What is 7x encryption? I thought there was only 4x and 6x?

Provided he has n3ds and cubic ninja, yes.

Through PM I suggested he read the save data mega guide sticky at the top of this sub by mmn. He is is confused about all the X.x encryption terms we use in this mess. Hell, I get confused myself on it and have had to refer back to that guide.

Now CIAwsome has posted his solution of renaming the GW save dump on the other thread. I sure will eat crow if that works, but I don't think so.
