Ok so i lied. i didn't go out and buy any paints yesterday. it was one of my days off and i felt too lazy to do anything. instead i napped for a good 4 hours.

though after class today i picked 2 new kits.

HG UC unicorn destroy mode and a HG GN-X :3

GN-X i'm thinking about keeping for myself, looks quite good. was meant for the kid i know but eh.

i went to look for paints today, 3 different local hobby stores either were overpriced (selling pots of paint for double than rrp, or cans of spray paint for around 15-20 when the rrp is 10), didn't have the colours i was looking for in stock, or didn't stock any forms of paint whatsoever. kinda sucks. oh well. at least i picked up some mr. cement

i dunno mang, GN-X's can look pretty cool.

Granted that is the MG 1/100 version.

Also, i've picked up 2 other HG's from hlj. MR BUSHIDOOOOOOO's ahead and Xist's mobile Cque for 600 yen each, came to about 25~ australian including shipping. not bad considering i bought both the unicorn and the GN-x for about 50.

I've also started up a blog which will pretty much be my worklog when it comes to gunpla.

The only ones I've got are Gundam Wing HG kits which arrived here when GW was all the rage. Too bad I didn't even get to complete the collection before they pulled them

Tieren Ground Type > Sergei's Tieren > GN-X > Graham's Union Flag Custom

Tieren is the sexiest grunt unit I've ever laid eyes on.

Wooo! Two kits I want, but haven't built yet. I'm not as hardcore as you though, I usually just build them as is and don't bother with detailing or anything.

agreed on how nice the tieren ground type look, but my local store doesn't stock them, only the space command type. i hate those big bulbs on the leg.

Have you tried ordering online from Rainbowten or Hobby Japan? On another site I go to for Gundam stuff those are the most frequently mentioned for kits, add-ons and replacement parts(torn polycap and stuff).

i don't think i'll be buying online unless there are some clearances or sales going on. like those HG kits i've ordered, half price from hlj. for the most part, my local store are pretty good with prices. With Mr Bushido's ahead, it normal price on hlj is 1200yen, which is about 14-15 aud, estimated shipping is 780yen to australia, which is about 10~ australian or so. the store i buy from sells them for 22 australian.
