Ive been downloading a few songs from fretsonfire, some of them work, some of them dont.

Anyone have an idea why?

To elaborate more: With the songs that don't work, it will show the first note, but then the background screen will start to fade to black and no other notes show up.

i think the author might of just not made the whole song or something with them i made a bullet one its pretty hard tbh lol, cos i just massed the buttons on the creator.

Another thing: Anyone know what are the specs for creating custom bmps for this? The manual is kinda foggy and only tells you how big they become, not how big you're supposed to make em'.

its a channel and a .dol file in the package

a wii-mode boot.dol is used the same way as a boot.elf within the HBC

is there any way to make song notes match the actual song, keep missing because notes are slightly behind the song, its hard enough as it is with the mote+chuck

I was going to try to add guitar compatibility, but it seems there's no source available...

Where did this come from?

the game itself already supports the wii guitar. all you need to do is open the program w/ the wii remote, then once it's open, go to options and select guitar for 1st player, then connect the guitar to the wii remote and you can play with the guitar instead.

Free Guitar Hero! w00t. Been playing Frets on Fire for about a year now so maybe it's time to buy a guitar for Wii.

its been made painstakingly clear that it also works with wiimote/nunchuck/wii guitar

Sounds awesome. Shame that my tv is smaller than my pc screen, so I'm better off with just by playing frets on fire on pc.
But I'll probably give it a try anyway.

it should be noted that this game is not frets on fire. it can work with FoF songs but its a different game that has its own pc version

I guess all you have modded your Wii. I don't want to risk it at all. I'd rather buy a second one on eBay, or elsewhere.

Or better yet, I have a GH, GH2, and 80's pack.

My only concern is that it'll wear out SD cards pretty quickly.
