OK obviously I didn't make it as clear. PS3 version $60 vs 360 version $2.5, Verbatim DL-DVD =P

Here's what I think of each console, very subjective so no comments on these please.
PS3 ver-
Pros: Free online, has a trophy system (whatever the official name is, idk) linked to Home, HDD install shortens loadings
Cons: Trophy system kinda useless atm, DLC comes out late, some people experience freezing
(Don't think low native resolution is a con because extra effects make up more than enough)

360 ver-
Pros: Can be run on modded console, gets an exclusive DLC, achievements, Live is more user-friendly
Cons: Dithering issue, DLCs come out late

I think they're pretty even.
DLC is not a huge factor to me because it comes out too late; if you get 1000 GS just in time for Ninja Gaiden 2 release date, that means 1/4 month GTA4 lying out waiting for DLC to come out. So 1 DLC for PS3 or 2 DLCs for 360, no difference to me. Star Wars Force Unleashed > GTA4 DLC personally.

I got a 360 b/c I've always wanted one. ps3 was still (is still?) expensive at the time of purchase.
A big deciding factor for me was friends.

Don't think PS3 is too expensive right now, Pro + 1 year Live is slightly over PS3 price. With Blu-ray drive production cost constantly decreasing, soon there'll be DualShock3 bundled PS3 for cheaper prices.

I've decided to buy a second hand 360 and hack it. Saves money, and I'll buy a PS3 near the end of the year/next year if I really still want one.

Off to do some more 360 hacking research now 8D

Singleplayer is awesome fun but the Multiplayer gets boring. I can play CoD4 multiplayer for hours but after like an hour of GTA 4 online it gets real boring.

I also want to add the cars drive like shit.

And i have a 60gig PS3 and the game has no issues as of yet.

GTA and COD are two completely different genres and have completely different online modes xD Of course you'll favour one more than the other.

I have a launch day 360 that still works perfectly ... and I'm sure that I'm not the only person ...

You're reffering to the RROD? I'm not too worried about that, I guess. I could always buy a new one for £150, or go second hand if I wanted to. My brother has had his 360 for 2 years or so and it's yet to fail him.
