Gaming GTA V issues with the first mission with Chop

Hi, my PS3 was formatted, don't know why, so I restarted GTA V. When I get to work with the dog for the first time, the dog won't listen to Franklin when he's fingering the female dog. He stays there, and I can't proceed.
What do I do?

I think you have to be nearby him and call him (right d pad I think) several times before it triggers a cutscene.

Otherwise commit suicide and try again until it works.

I dont even think calling works. If I remember, for me, Franklin yanked him off the dude dog when I walked over there.

I did try commit suiciding, rebooted my PS3, tried pressing on the right d-pad, but didn't work. Also, I walked there, he just kept telling Chop to get the hell off and stop fingering the female dog. I'm contacting R*.

I MADE A NEW game and now it works.
