Hacking GRR stupid dstt clones

ok, so i bought an "R4i upgrade revolution for DS" which i foudn out yesterday was a dstt clone!!!

it can barely run any of the recent games.

so is there any type of custom firmware that would go on this flash card? i have tried wood r4 and YSmenu but what is wood rpg?? if there isn't should i just get an AceKard?

Wood RPG is basically Wood R4 for the Acekard RPG (it won't be helpful at all for you).
If you get YSmenu working, I'm pretty sure that you'll be able to play more recent games.

For game compatibility, you need to have the latest extlib.dat and infolib.dat files in your TTMENU folder (or whatever your system folder is named). You can get the latest ones here:

Wood RPG is the Acekard RPG version of Wood R4, practically the same.

You're better off just buying an Acekard really. DSTT, its clones, and anything pretending to be an R4 are all just crap with shoddy firmware.
