Gaming Great PC games from before 2000

Wow, how did I forget Thief? I still remember using my first cudgel... who played that game and didn't shoot people in the sack with arrows?

If you want some old school PC games that are cool try the DOSBox emulator. There are games like Police Quest, Space Quest, and the Leisure Suit Larry series (18 or older on that one.

Or, try the MYST series. I really like that series.

American McGee's Alice is from 2000 and it's an awesome game. Should run on almost any decently modern computer.

Age of Empires is a lot of fun too.

EDIT: Fallout and Fallout 2 as well.
